The
Médoc Bleu stretches from just north of the Bassin
d'Arcachon to the tip of the Gironde estuary at Pointe
de Graves, taking in Lacanau-Océan,
Montalivet-les-Bains and Soulac-sur-Mer
along the way. It's a stretch of coastline dominated by
magnificent ocean beaches, pine forest and shimmering
lakes. The Médoc Blue, Green and Gold might be more
appropriate! Known for a range of outdoor activities: surfing, cycling,
golf, horse-riding, sailing and, of course, sorties into the Médoc
Rouge, bordering the Gironde estuary, to sample the famous
wines of Pauillac, Margaux and Saint-Julien. Within easy
reach of Bordeaux, this region is a treat for all the senses. |
