Summary
The Beach House is owned by an Anglo-Australian family who live in London. They have worked in the surfing industry for many years and have been visiting Hossegor for business and pleasure for many years.

They previously owned a lovely farmhouse just inland from the coast. That has now been sold on, and they've made a new base on the beach. We're very glad about that.

Hossegor Beach House is certainly a stylish rental - the owners have a real eye for contemporary design and with a tasteful surf theme evident throughout, this is a very 'un-French' holiday rental. We believe this is a major benefit. The basement level is particularly fresh and creative.

In our view, this house is best for adult groups or families with older kids who are keen to surf. It's less suited to toddlers as the grounds do not feature any lawn plus there are numerous steps & slopes to be wary of.

Update on Renovations
Purchased in 2007, the house has undergone extensive refurbishments to modernise the property and generally tidy it up. The refurbishments incorporate:
- garden 'makeover' including bamboo planting to mark the perimeter and a new front gate
- decked terraces to the front and rear
- completely refurbished basement level with new TV lounge, three bedrooms, bathroom and en-suite
- re-decoration of the ground floor (entrance hall, kitchen, living room, bedroom, summer kitchen)

Location
At the northern end of Hossegor, between the lagoon and the beach. Estagnots is the beach - it's just a couple of minutes to the dunes from the Beach House.

- Summer kitchen which joins a covered terrace (plancha, hob, dishwasher, two ridges)
- Kitchen with breakfast bar, washing machine (the kitchen has been redecorated but retains its '1980's feel' - the owners want it that way for the time being!
- Living room - 'L-shaped' room incorporating plenty of sofas, TV, music and terrace access. West-facing room

- Bedroom 2: 150cm double bed and en-suite bathroom
- Bedroom 3: twin beds or join to make a 180cm double
- Bedroom 4: twin beds or join to make a 180cm double
- Shower room shared by bedrooms 3 & 4
- Superb lounge room with plasma screen TV

Outside
- Superb west-facing terrace adjoining the summer kitchen - plancha provided
- Decked terrace at the rear of the house too
- The grounds are bordered by bamboo. There is little by way of lawn - the pine tree environment makes it difficult for grass to grow.
