We offer several holiday apartment venues all along Aquitaine's 250 km 'Silver Coast including two new locations on the 'sunshine' west coast of France - Le Mail Plage on the stylish island of Ile de Ré, and Résidence de l'Ocean right on the beach at La Tranche sur Mer. |

What are Seaside Apartments? Each
venue typically has around 100 apartments which share at least one swimming
pool and sports facilities. Some venues also provide a restaurant and organised activities in the high season such as Kids’ Clubs and most offer guests a discount at local venues such as golf courses, surf clubs and spa centres, etc. |

Where are they? Situated
along La Côte d'Argent - the Silver Coast - of Aquitaine, from La
Tranche sur Mer (Vendée), mid-way down the Atlantic Coast,
to the Spanish border at St Jean de Luz and Hendaye. |

Who are they for? In
our experience, Seaside Apartments work best in the high season
for families as they give kids a chance to meet and play
with other children - of all nationalities. The facilities on offer also
make these venues popular with adults and kids alike. In the mid & low seasons, Seaside Apartments are popular with a cross-section of visitors including golfers and surfers or couples just wanting to relax by the seaside. |

What about the apartments? It
is fair to say that a lot of French apartments are compact and are often
sold on the basis of a rather ambitious sleeping capacity - "sleeps
8" does not mean 4 bedrooms but will probably mean 2 bedrooms, a
sofa-bed and a set of bunk beds! Our descriptions clearly state the size of the apartment in square metres of floorspace, the number of bedrooms, the sleeping capacity and number of beds. All apartments have a kitchenette, living area, at least one bathroom and a private balcony or terrace. |
